 Jared Pascoe has worked in casting and talent management in both Los Angeles and New York City. Jared has been the TV/film agent at the Docherty Agency in Pittsburgh since 2013.  His clients have appeared in projects for Netflix, ABC, NBC, CBS, Showtime, Hulu, Starz, HBO and more.

As a writer, Jared has studied playwriting at the Second City and holds a certificate in television writing from the University of California, Los Angeles Extension's writers program. 

Jared is a two time Academy Nicholl Semifinalist, placing in 2021 with his very first feature script and again in 2022 with his second feature script.

. His projects have also placed in the Austin Film Festival, the Page Awards, UCLA Extension Writing Competition, WeScreenplay Diverse Voices, Stowe Story Labs, Launch Pad, ScreenCraft, CineStory Feature Fellowship & the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival. 

In June 2022, Jared co-founded the Pre-Rainbow Pages, an independent data-base to bring visibility to pre-WGA LGBTQIA+ screenwriters 

He tends to write about working class queers and leans towards optimism (or murder) in his storytelling. 

He splits his time between Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. 

Jared is married with two cats, JB and Fletcher.
